If you’re anything like us and have Qantas points flowing in from every program possible, you’ve probably amassed a small fortune of points. Between American Express generous 100,000 point signup bonus, Woolworths Rewards & other banks allowing you to redeem your rewards points for Qantas points, we’ve been the fortunate receives of a massive 250,000 points in the last year.
But what does one do with all those points? It’s been well known for a long time that flight redemptions are the best value for money. But saving a little on your groceries or other retail purchases might also be on the cards for some people. It’s worth a look…
We decided to have a look over some of the options available to Qantas frequent flyer members.
5. Woolworths
While not the best deal overall, being able to redeem points for your groceries (and at a decent rate comparable to the Visa/Mastercard options) is worth something. Woolworths gift card redemption with Qantas is surprisingly good, and worth a look at.

2. Ski Express NZ SuperPass
This one blew our mind. As keen snow sports junkies, I was amazed when I calculated this. The Ski Express NZ SuperPass lets you visit The Remarkables, Coronet Peak and Mount Hutt ski resorts for 3 to 6 days at any point in the 2022 ski season. If you’re yet to book that trip, get on it! The 4 day pass is the best bang for buck by a very small percentage, but overall, a fantastic redemption option if you’re keen to hit the snow this year!
